"By eliminating the often troublesome gravity separation phase with its adjustable weir that is supposed to skim off the free oil, SEPURA eliminates a large percentage of the potential pitfalls with traditional oil/water separators. Filtration breakthrough

In the last year, SEPURA has introduced its patented STERLING filter medium. This brilliant invention, which is a silica-based material processed to maximise oil retention has made possible a 20% increase in capacity across the range and a class leading figure of up to 5000 hours of filter life. STERLING is lightweight and requires NO presoaking before use.

STERLING also made possible the recently introduced SEP60ST oil/water separator for compressors up to 11kW. High performance in a compact size meant that this innovative oil/water separator could be mass produced at a cost that brings it within the reach of users of smaller compressors. As a single-use device with 4000 to 8000 hours of service life (compressor size dependent), the low cost SEP60ST can be replaced in 60 seconds during a service visit.

Distributor benefit

From a distributor viewpoint, one of the best things about the SEPURA oil/water separator, is the standardised performance. The basic design in conjunction with STERLING filters ensures that there is no need for complicated sizing charts. For instance our SEP 360 ST offers 360cfm capacity irrespective of compressor technology, with any type of drain trap and any lubricant (except PAG) anywhere in the world.
