Raise a glass to new dryer range
November 22nd 2010

Hi-line Industries is releasing its new CDA range of refrigeration air dryers into the UK market. The current range of Arctic Air Dryers will be superseded in January 2011. Hi-line has a close relationship with local breweries, and will send out a slab of local beer with every CDA sold in January.

CDA – Clean Dry Air is a terminology from the semiconductor industry where ultra pure gases are mixed in the manufacture of silicone wafers. Clean Dry Air is air that has been filtered and dehumidified to remove particulates and moisture so that it can be safely used in pneumatic devices or systems.

The firm says: “The Hi-line CDA range has been designed with reliability at the forefront. In a marketplace that is focused on price, it is too easy to make that a design criteria.

“Not so with Hi-line. The CDA dryer range is designed to save money on its cost of ownership, not its capital cost. However it still remains one of the best value for money dryers available in the UK market. Designed by Hi-line using established refrigerant component companies such as LG, Copeland and Danfoss the CDA range of dryers are 134a and 404a based units and start with a ½” BSP connection up to an 8” flanged connection.”

The CDA unit has no flashing lights or no electronic board that could be the weakest link as in most budget dryer ranges.

The Dewpoint is displayed directly from the refrigerant circuit to a Manometer showing dewpoint and pressure, and exact real time reading.

Each dryer is fitted with a HTD autodrain with a ball valve strainer to protect it. These high quality units are available in compressed air blue (RAL 5015) and are currently in stock at the company’s Midlands distribution centre, based in the brewing capital of the country, Burton-on-Trent.
