Desiccant dryer packages

For over 40 years, Silicair Dryers has been designing and manufacturing desiccant dryer packages for supplying very high quality compressed air or gas supplies for numerous critical applications. Product Range

CUB Heatless Dryers This range of simple, compact and easily installed dryers are ideal for small flow, point of use and OEM applications where space is at a premium or for small factory installations.

M SERIES Heatless Dryers

To cover medium flow rates these compact dryer packages with integral after filtration are ideal for standard industrial applications. Also able to be supplied as complete packages with additional pre-filtration, if required.

MM Heatless / and R1 Heat Reactivated Dryers

Designed to handle flows for larger installations, Silicair offer both heatless and internally heated packages to meets these requirement. Normally supplied as individual dryers or with required pre and after filtration and a number of energy efficient controls options are available.

Energy Saving Features

All Silicair Heatless dryers can be supplied with the facility to be linked to the compressor to save purge air being consumed during periods of low flow conditions.If the compressor stops then the purge air flow will be interrupted. The more comprehensive DESS energy saving system can also be fitted to these dryers to reduce energy consumption and maintain outlet dewpoint performance in periods of light load operation.

Medium and High Pressure Dryer Packages

Activity within this particular sector continues to increase and complete dryer / filtration packages are provided for up to 450 barg operating pressures. Requirements for lower dewpoint systems, especially in the medium pressure sector up to 40 barg, mean that significant advances have been made in the supply of energy efficient packages. Higher pressure specialist packages for air and other gases continue to be available.

Breathing Air Applications

Based on the same design concept as the CUB and M Series models, Silicair continue to offer their range of breathing air and filtration packages, designed to produce air quality to BS EN 12021:1999 breathing air standard and to include CO and CO2 removal. These compact units are ideal for supplying 1 or 2 man systems or larger complete breathing air installations.

Hospital Air Medical Packages

The design and supply of dryer / filtration packages for use in hospitals, both in the UK and overseas, has been a primary area of interest and activity for many years. Silicair have a thorough understanding the stringent requirements of this sector, relating to both medical and surgical air applications. Package designs are supplied to meet the requirements as laid down in HTM 02-01 and also to European Pharmacopoeia standard.

Engineered Projects

Silicair Dryers expertise in designing and supplying client specification packages has further increased in recent years.Using our base dryer designs and nominated vessel codes, we then build these into full skid mounted packages with filters and controls to provide a turnkey solution for both onshore and offshore applications.
