July 26th 2007 Launched at the Spring Conference and as part of its ongoing commitment to its members BCAS in association with Romero Insurance Brokers are proud to present a specialist insurance facility available for members of the society
The BCAS Insurance facility can only be accessed through Romero Insurance Brokers who have grown organically into one of the top 60 UK Independent Insurance Brokers and now place in excess of £30,000,000 premium annually trading from our Head Office in Leeds and office in Lloyds of London. The insurance is provided by AIG Europe (UK), part of AIG, the leading international insurance organisation. AIG Europe employs over 1,700 staff in the UK and have been providing insurance in the UK for over 50 years.
The facility has been produced in the knowledge that the compressed air industry as a whole has been greatly misunderstood due to the wide ranging use of compressed air and the varying trades within the industry. With this in mind the Scheme will provide Members with the following benefits:-

Full cover provided for hot work
No Hazardous premises exclusion i.e. allows work in high risk areas such as power stations, chemical plants
Can accommodate off-shore work if required
Standard policy extensions including Directors & Officers and medical rehabilitation cover.
Cover for efficacy (failure to perform) at no extra cost; this cover is usually excluded by most major Insurers and will give your Clients additional protection and hopefully assist you to increase sales.
Additional Benefits Clients of Romeros enjoy access to our Health & Safety Division which can review all your Health & Safety documentation and arrangements free of charge. They can even implement a revised Health & Safety Policy and provide staff training to ensure that all your obligations with regards to Health & Safety are fulfilled.
