July 27th 2007 GAST AIR MOTORS The compact, lightweight air motors from the Gast Group are known industry-wide for their combination of rugged construction and reliability. They are used for a variety of applications including mixing equipment; food and pharmaceutical packaging; pump and conveyor drives; and hoists and winches. The range is available ATEX approval to the T4 standard. Non-lubricated versions are available in four basic models from 0.13 to 1.86 kW (0.18 to 2.5 HP), with motor speeds up to 4,000 RPM. Oil-lubricated versions are available in seven basic models from 0.33 to 7.1 kW (0.45 to 9.5 HP) with motor speeds variable from 300 to 10,000 RPM. A range of 304L stainless steel versions is also available. GAST ROCKING PISTONS The outstanding performance, durability and flexibility of the Gast Group’s range of oil-less rocking piston air compressors and vacuum pumps makes them the ideal choice for applications such as oxygen concentrators, beverage dispense, body fluid analysis, automotive suspension, dental vacuum ovens, vacuum frames and core drilling. The rocking piston range – which comes in standard, twin, and miniature styles – is available with air flow rates to 9.35 m3/h (3.4 lpm to 5.5 cfm), vacuum capacities to 31 mbar (29 in. Hg) and pressures up to 12 bar (175 psig). Corrosion resistant and tank models are available, as well as a complete range of recommended accessories. JUN-AIR SOUNDPROOF CABINETS Soundproof cabinets for the JUN-AIR OF1200 oil-less compressor range reduce sound emissions from the already quiet oil-less compressors to as low as 55 dB(A). This combined with the attractive and easy-clean ‘medical’ white textured finish, makes them ideal for laboratory, medical and other working environments, where low-noise is a requirement, and for installation close to individual workstations. Cabinets can be wall mounted or free-standing and are available for compressors with outputs up to 146 l/min at 8 bar and tank sizes up to 40 litres. They feature a removable top for easy access, and are designed with usability, hygiene and maintenance in mind. JUN-AIR OF300 COMPRESSORS To meet the demand for clean, dry air, the JUN-AIR OF300 range of oil-lubricated and oil-less air compressors are supplied as a combined air compressor/vacuum pump. They can deliver free air at flow rates from 38- 200 l/min, and offer an unrivalled combination of low noise levels, reliability, long life and low maintenance. The range is among the quietest available and capable of achieving ratings as low as 47dB(A), making them ideal for use where an independent air supply is required, but where noise could cause H&S problems.
