 Lowest possible running costs?
April 20th 2007

Hi-Line says its air dryers are the most energy efficient compressed air dryers available.

Hi-Line admits this is a bold statement but says it is one backed up by the compressed air industry when choosing adsorption dryers for ‘air over the wall projects’.

One of the latest trends in energy saving and cost reduction is to purchase your compressed air as you use it, just like other utilities like gas, electric and water. Naturally, the companies supplying the air will want to use the most energy efficient equipment available to keep their generating costs down.

The capabilities of the control panel of the Hi-line HBP range (Heater Blower Programme) is one of its advantages. Using the software of your choice, the Hi-line control panel incorporating AEMS (Automatic Energy Management System) takes digital signals from your compressor and system (ambient temperature, pressure, dewpoint requirement, approach temperature, relative humidity, water loading etc.) and adjusts its parameters to make the dryer perform at its optimum. It can even be programmed with electrical tariffs to regenerate at its lowest tariffs. Lagged vessels give a further energy saving of 8%.

The Hi-line control panel can be retro fitted to all makes of adsorption dryer, making the most primitive of dryers into a high tech energy efficient piece of plant, giving valuable savings in energy and reducing the carbon footprint significantly.
