New high-output dual frequency compressors

JUN-AIR, the manufacturer of ultra-quiet compressors for packaging and print applications has extended its oil-free range with the introduction of the higher-output OF1200 which, with an output of 130 l/min at 8 bar offers a useful 45% increase over the best selling OF300.

Like all JUN-AIR oil-free compressors the OF1200 is also vibration-free and extremely quiet, with a noise level of just 76dB(A) as a free standing unit. When housed in optional silent-running cabinets to be introduced later in 2005 the noise level will be reduced to as low as 47dB(A), The compressors have very low vibration.

This makes the OF1200 ideal for powering sophisticated pneumatic systems found in the vacuum-packing and bag-filling machinery that is an essential part of today’s high-volume internet and mail order warehouse operations.

The compressors can also be used as stand-alone air generators in areas that require an independent air supply, but where noise, or the storage of potentially hazardous gas cylinders, could cause H&S problems.

The new range features the same unique cooling system, wear-resisting piston rings and proven manufacturing technology as the OF300 and is designed for 100% reliability in continuous operation. Units are constructed with fewer moving parts in order to reduce wear and provide maximum reliability, minimum maintenance and a long working life.

Receivers are internally coated to guarantee an air supply that is in optimum condition, which will be especially appropriate where food or pharmaceuticals are being packed.

The Model OF1200 series offers an alternative to traditional lubricated compressors that have traditionally been used for process and packaging applications, where a quiet, reliable air supply is required.

The compressor is designed for continuous duty and can be located in any location worldwide.

The OF1200 also features 50/60Hz dual frequency to provide greater flexibility for packaging and print equipment that needs to operate anywhere in the world without modification. To make installation easier for integrated solutions and demanding OEM-applications, multiple outlet ports are provided to allow connection in various directions. Versions are also available to operate at 10 bar maximum pressure.
